Shipping Conditions

1. Purpose and Scope of Application 

At Zaus Home, we operate under principles of transparency, legality, and regulatory compliance, ensuring a secure purchasingexperience in accordance with the current legislation governing e-commerce and consumer protection in Spain. 

These Shipping Conditions are governed by the following legal provisions: 

  • Law 7/1998, of 13 April, on General Contracting Conditions. 

  • Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE). 

  • Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumersand Users (LGDCU). 

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of personal data (GDPR). 

 

Zaus Home reserves the right to amend these Shipping Conditions at any time, ensuring their updated publication on the website. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these Conditions. 

2. Territorial Scope and Shipping Coverage 

2.1. Shipping Destinations 
Zaus Home ships exclusively within mainland Spain. 

 

No shipments are made to the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, or international destinations. 

 

2.2. Verification of Delivery Area 
Before processing the order, Zaus Home will verify the logistical feasibility of the delivery address provided. 
If the address presents access restrictions or logistical difficulties, Zaus Home will contact the customer to: 

  • Propose an alternative feasible location within the coverage area, or 

  • Proceed with cancellation and a refund if delivery is not possible. 

 

Areas with restricted access (historic centres, pedestrian-only streets, zones with limited traffic, etc.) may require additional logistical services, the cost of which will be borne by thecustomer. 

3. Plataformas logísticas y gestión de entrega

To provide a fast and efficient service, Zaus Home manages its shipments through multiple logistics platforms across Spain. 

3.1. Logistic Delegations – Special Considerations 
In provinces without their own logistics platform, delivery times may vary. 
In areas with restricted access, special conditions or additional costs may apply.

4. Plazo de entrega y factores que pueden afectarlo

4.1. Estimated Delivery Time 

  • In-store pickup (furniture and décor): 15 to 20 business days. 

  • Home delivery (furniture and décor): 20 to 25 business days. 

  • Sofas and upholstered furniture: up to 45 business days for pickup and up to 50 business days for home delivery. 

The delivery period is calculated from the next business day after full payment confirmation and may vary depending on product availability or the accessibility of the delivery address. 
Business days are considered Monday to Friday, excluding national or local holidays. 
To obtain a more precise estimated timeframe, customers may contact our customer service team. 

 

4.2. Factors That May Affect Delivery 
Delivery times are indicative and may be affected by circumstances beyond the control of Zaus Home, such as: 

  • High-demand periods (sales, holidays, or promotions). 

  • Logistical incidents, supplier delays, or transportation issues. 

  • Adverse weather conditions. 

  • Strikes or other force-majeure situations. 

 

The customer expressly waives the right to claim compensation for delays not directly attributable to Zaus Home. 

5. Delivery Methods and Additional Services

5.1. Delivery Options 
Zaus Home offers the following modalities: 

  • In-store pickup: the customer will be notified when the order is ready. 

  • Curbside delivery: delivery to the building entrance or property gate, without access to the interior. 

  • Delivery with home access: the team will move the product inside the home, provided conditions allow it. 

  • Delivery with assembly: includes transport, professional assembly, and removal of packaging. 

 

Important Note: 
For palletised deliveries, Zaus Home is not responsible for removing the pallet, as it is part of the industrial packaging. The customer must manage its disposal in accordance with local waste regulations. 

 

5.2. General Delivery Conditions – Zaus 

  • Assembly time: maximum of 45 minutes per furniture unit. 

  • Wall installations: not included; must be consulted in advance. 

  • Maximum weight: 80 kg per item (two operatives). Heavier pieces require additional personnel and a custom quotation. 

  • Accessibility: the customer must inform if access requires stairs or special permits. 

  • Packaging removal: included with the assembly service. 

  • Cancellations or modifications: must be notified at least 72 hours in advance (48 hours in exceptional cases). Otherwise, the full service will be charged. 

  • Assigned team: always composed of two specialised operatives and an adapted vehicle. 

 

5.3. Project Services – Zaus 
Zaus Home offers customised solutions for furniture and décor project management.

General Conditions: 

  • In areas without a logistics platform, consult specific conditions. 

  • In restricted-access locations, prior assessment is recommended. 

  • Assemblies requiring exclusive use of stairs require a special quotation. 

  • For half-day services, an additional mileage fee may apply. 

  • Optional service available for packaging removal and environmental management. 

Reservation and Cancellation Policy: 

  • Reservations must be confirmed within 45 days from product receipt. 

  • Cancellations must be notified 72 hours in advance (48 hours in exceptional cases). 

  • Each service includes two operatives and a specialised vehicle. 

6. Customer Obligations

6.1. Home Accessibility
The customer guarantees that the product can be delivered correctly, ensuring:

  • Measurements of doors, lifts, hallways, and staircases.

  • Permits or authorisations required in private communities or residential complexes.

6.2. Notification of Restrictions
The customer must inform Zaus Home of any restrictions or special requirements before confirming the order, such as:

  • Pedestrian streets or areas with limited access.

  • Heights or dimensions that require a crane.

  • Community rules or areas with restricted unloading schedules.

Failure to provide this information may result in additional costs for rescheduling or extra logistical means, which will be charged to the customer.

6.3. Customer Absence
If the customer is not present at the delivery address on the agreed date, or unjustifiably refuses the order, costs will be generated for:

  • A new delivery attempt.

  • Return to the warehouse.

These costs will be billed in accordance with Article 101.1 of the LGDCU.

7. Liability for Delays

Zaus Home shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

  • Strikes or labour disputes.

  • Adverse weather conditions.

  • Customs restrictions or logistical incidents.

  • Force majeure (natural disasters, health crises, conflicts, etc.).

In accordance with Article 1105 of the Spanish Civil Code, there is no liability when non-compliance is due to causes that are beyond control or unavoidable.

8. Product Safety and Liability

8.1. Transport Insurance
All shipments include insurance that covers visible damage detected within the first 24 hours after receipt.
The customer must:

  • Inspect the goods upon delivery.

  • Record any damage or irregularity on the delivery note.

  • Notify Zaus Home within a maximum of 24 hours.

After this period, claims will not be accepted.
The insurance covers only damage resulting from transport, not from assembly or improper use.

 

8.2. Transfer of Risk
In accordance with Article 66 bis of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act (LGDCU), the risk of loss or deterioration is transferred to the customer at the moment effective delivery takes place.
If the customer signs the delivery note without remarks, the goods will be considered received in good condition.
For orders that include assembly, the product must be inspected before the assembly process begins.

10. Modification of the Shipping Conditions 

Zaus Home may modify these Shipping Conditions at any time. The changes will apply from the moment they are published on www.zaushome.com and will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
